No, this is not an agreement with the university, but rather an agreement between the resident and Altus Towson Row.
Altus offers academic year agreements of approximately 11½ months (extended if you renew), allowing you to stay in Towson all year long. Click here to see a sample Housing Agreement.
Water and internet are included. Residents are only responsible for electricity, which is billed monthly.

Altus offers plenty of gated on-site car, motorcycle/scooter and bicycle parking options. Both unassigned and reserved parking spots are available for residents for an additional cost. Altus is just blocks from Towson University campus, with campus shuttle bus service, TU Tiger Ride and Morgan State shuttle services, stopping nearby.
Your living costs at Altus can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Altus. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.
Each resident must pay an administrative fee for each contract year. This fee is reduced significantly if the resident provides a qualifying guarantor (often a parent) for their financial obligations under Housing Agreement.
You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.
